Vintage coat hanger is an original design work realized by the Italian architect and designer Carlo De Carli (Milan, 1910-Milan, 1999) in the 1970s. Original lacquered wood and brass. Produced by Fiam. Made in Italy. Total dimensions: cm 181 x 37 x 37. Very good conditions. Carlo De Carli (Milan, 1910-Milan, 1999) was an Italian architect, designer, essayist and academic, one of the protagonists of modern architecture, industrial design, and their teaching. His line of thought is concretized in the architecture created from the postwar period to the early seventies. His first important building dates back to 1947-1949, the House for offices and homes in via dei Giardini 7 in Milan, in the basement of which he will build the Sant'Erasmo Theater after a few years (1951-1953) with the collaboration of the architect Antonio Carminati. The other most significant works are the ''Milano village'' in La Caletta di Siniscola, Nuoro (1948-1951), the Foresteria delle Mine of Monteponi, South Sardinia (1950-1952), the school and welfare complex of the Opera Don Calabria in Cimiano, Milan (professional workshops, middle school, pension for the elderly, Church of San Gerolamo Emiliani) (1952-1965), the Home for the Elderly in Negrar, Verona (1955-1962), the Church of Sant'Ildefonso (1955-1956) in Milan.

Sa ligne de pensée se concrétise dans l'architecture créée de l'après-guerre au début des années 70. Son premier bâtiment important remonte à 1947-1949, la Maison pour bureaux et logements de via dei Giardini 7 à Milan, dans le sous-sol de laquelle il construira quelques années plus tard (1951-1953) le théâtre Sant'Erasmo avec la collaboration de l'architecte Antonio Carminati. Les autres œuvres les plus significatives sont le " Milano village " à La Caletta di Siniscola, Nuoro (1948-1951), la Foresteria delle Mine de Monteponi, Sardaigne du Sud (1950-1952), le complexe scolaire et social de l'Opéra Don Calabria à Cimiano, Milan (ateliers professionnels, collège, pension pour les personnes âgées, église de San Gerolamo Emiliani) (1952-1965), la Maison pour personnes âgées de Negrar, Vérone (1955-1962), l'église de Sant'Ildefonso (1955-1956) à Milan.
