More about the "Queen Ana style" ...
Originated in the 18th century (time of the late Baroque) in Great Britain, it takes its name from Queen Ana Estuardo, as it applied to architecture and decorative arts designed during her reign, covering part of the reign of Jorge I. This style resurfaced especially in the United States at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth century.
As for the “Queen Ana” furniture, the use of curved shapes and an emphasis on the line and the form rather than the ornament is distinguished. La Pata Cabriolé is the most recognizable element of the furniture "Queen Ana". They were taken from the Rococó style of the French court of Louis XV. But in this style the intricate ornamentation was not taken, which was abandoned in favor of more conservative designs, possibly under the influence of the simple and elegant lines of imported Chinese furniture.
