Stunning Copper Slave Clock by Synchronome
A beautiful little industrial clock made in England circa 1930 by Synchronome.
Synchronome were the preeminent clock maker throughout the early & mid 20th century, commercially producing the most accurate electric clocks globally despite strong competition from companies such as Gents of Leicester.
This beautiful little factory clock has a copper case that has been polished leaving a hi sheen finish which can be protected or left to age naturally.
The familiar Synchronome typeface is used on the arabic numerals along with their trademark spade hands however the makers marks seem a little more special on this piece.
The original slave movements intact and operating perfectly so has been retained and can be operated with a modern impulse driver which can be mains or battery operated.
The artists figure in the images is 6ft 1" to give a representation of scale.
