Origin Italy 90s Author Mario Ceroli, born on 17 May 1938 in Castel Frentano, is an influential Italian sculptor and scenographer, known for its artistic versatility and the innovative use of materials. Formed at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, it initially distinguished itself with ceramic sculptures and then experimented with wood, a material that has become central in its artistic production since the 1950s. During the 1960s, influenced by Pop Art, Ceroli creates great human -raw wood human shapes, becoming a pioneer of poor art. He participated in important exhibitions, including the Rome Quadrennial and the Venice Biennale, and has created scenography for theater, cinema and television. Origine Italie 90s Auteur Mario Ceroli, né le 17 mai 1938 à Castel Frentano, est un sculpteur et scénographe italien influent, connu pour sa polyvalence artistique et l'utilisation innovante des matériaux. Formé à l'Académie des beaux-arts de Rome, il s'est d'abord distingué par des sculptures en céramique, puis a expérimenté le bois, un matériau qui est devenu central dans sa production artistique depuis les années 1950.
