Scoop acrylic glass table large by stefano belingardi clusoni dimensions: 85 x 55 x 36 cm materials: calacatta oro, brass, wood, acrylic glass what we observe is often deceiving, it conceals itself and avoids being truly seen. Belingardi demands a coffee table that regards us and lets itself be regarded, a silent eye that knows how to welcome and bestow. A marble plane in calacatta oro, a brass-plated opening, a white/copper contrast that brightens the ambience. What we are looking, usually fools us, hiding and only deceiving us. Belingardi wants a small table that we may look at, and that looks back at us. A mute eye that knows how to welcome and grant. A floor in calacatta oro marble, a hole plated in brass, the contrast between the white and the copper that enlightens the atmosphere. a graduate of mario botta’s accademia di architettura in mendrisio, he was awarded the sia prize for the master’s best project of the year.
