''The Nature'' is an original oil on paper by the italian artist Sergio Barletta. Designed in mid 1970s, it is in very good conditions. Sergio Barletta From the age of 22 is active in Rome, where he has bee working as an illustrator and art director in some monthly magazines like “Costume”, Diners Club house organ, BP Review, IBM, and others. In 1965 started the joint-working with Marino Gallery in Rome, and in 1966 in Milan with Humour Graphic’s Group, at Levi Gallery and others in the following years. In these years graphic work and illustration are mixed with painting and photography, also with satirical drawings for Rinascita, weekly of the Italian communist party; Azione Sociale, weekly of ACLI Catholic Workers Association; movie posters, advertising for Gucci, some writings for Popular Photography Italiana, lay-outs, writings and illustrations for Avinews, bimonthly for tour operators and so on. During the eighties he has been starting a long cooperation with satirical weekly “Il Sale”, complemented by a book with Ottaviano edizioni in Milan and others publications in Turin and Rome, all of satirical drawings. In this period he collaborates with Linus, the most important Italian comics monthly, and Harakiri, a humour weekly published in France. The contamination between different techniques allows him to say the meaning, the breathe of these years, the reality on Maya, the illusion of senseless reality. In these last years he worked on hundreds of paintings having for subject the woman body, the wear and tear of it in advertising, movies, beauty farms, TV and so on. Title of the interminable course of works is “La poupée du capitaine”, hommage to the everlasting beauty and seduction of the woman. He has been traveling for many years to Japan, Malaysia, Madagascar, Singapore, Egypt, Turkey for photographic work and writings. He spent a month in Varanasi, mixed with the pilgrims on the Ganga ghats, having a disclosure of a secret: devotion, life and death together on the sacred banks, hoping for Nirvana. The Nature" est une huile originale sur papier de l'artiste italien Sergio Barletta. Conçue au milieu des années 1970, elle est en très bon état. Sergio Barletta est actif à Rome depuis l'âge de 22 ans, où il a travaillé comme illustrateur et directeur artistique dans des magazines mensuels comme "Costume", Diners Club house organ, BP Review, IBM, et d'autres. En 1965, il a commencé à travailler en collaboration avec la galerie Marino à Rome, et en 1966 à Milan avec le groupe Humour Graphic, à la galerie Levi et dans les années qui ont suivi. Au cours de ces années, le travail graphique et l'illustration se mêlent à la peinture et à la photographie, ainsi qu'à des dessins satiriques pour Rinascita, hebdomadaire du parti communiste italien ; Azione Sociale, hebdomadaire de l'association des travailleurs catholiques ACLI ; des affiches de films, de la publicité pour Gucci, quelques écrits pour Popular Photography Italiana, des mises en page, des écrits et des illustrations pour Avinews, des bimensuels pour les tour-opérateurs, etc. Dans les années 80, il a entamé une longue collaboration avec l'hebdomadaire satirique "Il Sale", complétée par un livre avec les éditions Ottaviano à Milan et d'autres publications à Turin et à Rome, tous des dessins satiriques. Ces dernières années, il a travaillé sur des centaines de peintures ayant pour sujet le corps de la femme, l'usure de celui-ci dans la publicité, le cinéma, les instituts de beauté, la télévision, etc. Le titre de cet interminable parcours est "La poupée du capitaine", hommage à la beauté éternelle et à la séduction de la femme. Il a voyagé pendant de nombreuses années au Japon, en Malaisie, à Madagascar, à Singapour, en Égypte, en Turquie pour des travaux photographiques et des écrits. Il a passé un mois à Varanasi, mêlé aux pèlerins sur les ghats du Gange, ayant la révélation d'un secret : la dévotion, la vie et la mort ensemble sur les rives sacrées, en espérant le Nirvana.
