Last Friday Tatjana and I visited Lindsey Adelman at her studio in NY. WoW! WoW! WoW! Her lighting structures fill her beautiful studios showing the breadth of her work and her dedication to lighting structures.

Each light indulges in the mechanics of its components. The beautifully articulated installations happen to have a light switch and make light, but you can see how she loves to indulge in the materials and the mechanics of the actual light as opposed to just focusing on the lighting part. Lindsey is incredibly professional, talented and creative. She's even working on a hip hop video to follow her first video called LightMaking in which she expresses how important the produciton process is for her and for her team. As they don't ever really live with the final product, it’s during the process of creation of the work where they come together and become alive. So inspiring!
