New show at La Piscine, Roubaix
Beautiful Ceramics by Kristin McKirdy
La Piscine Museum (Musée D'Art et d'Industrie André Diligent) in Roubaix, France is presenting the works of the exceptional ceramicist Kristin McKirdy.
The show will include highlights from the last 20 years of the artist's career alongside more recent pieces made in 2014. I discovered her work through the Brussles based Galerie Pierre Marie Giraud who represents her work.
This American born artist based in Paris is one of the major players of the international contemporary ceramics scene. I find her sensibility allows for her work to be perfectly balanced: elegant and delicate yet powerful.
