Italy, 30/40 years origin Italy period 30/40 Author Guido Cacciapuoti born in Naples on 11 August 1892 belongs to an ancient family of majolicaries from which he learns the secrets of ceramic art. Great talent is highlighted for its beautiful animal subject sculptures. Moving together with the Mario Fretello in Treviso, he worked at the 'Gregori' manufacture and in 1915 he participated successfully in the Treviso art exhibition. Occasionally it also has relationships of collaboration with the 'Lazzar & Marcon' company of Treviso. In 1920 he presented some works at the XII Venice Biennale and the following year he exhibited at the Treviso regional art exhibition. The king of Italy, Mussolini, Starace and Prince Giorgio of England acquire some of his works. In 1927, together with his brother Mario and with Angelo Bignami in the role of administrative and commercial director of the company, he founded the manufacture 'art stoneware hunting Bignami & C.' Based in Milan in Viale Premuda 34. In 1930, due to the premature death of his brother, he remains the only owner of the company. The manufacture immediately has great success and becomes famous for the realistic sculptures of animals made by Guido. Guido Cacciapuoti died in 1953. Un grand talent est mis en évidence pour ses magnifiques sculptures de sujets animaliers. S'installant avec Mario Fretello à Trévise, il travaille à la manufacture 'Gregori' et en 1915 il participe avec succès à l'exposition d'art de Trévise. Il a aussi parfois des rapports de collaboration avec la société Lazzar & Marcon de Trévise. En 1920, il présente quelques œuvres à la XIIe Biennale de Venise et l'année suivante, il expose à l'exposition d'art régionale de Trévise. Le roi d'Italie, Mussolini, Starace et le prince Giorgio d'Angleterre acquièrent certaines de ses œuvres. En 1927, avec son frère Mario et avec Angelo Bignami dans le rôle de directeur administratif et commercial de l'entreprise, il fonde la manufacture "chasse au grès d'art Bignami & C." basée à Milan, Viale Premuda 34. En 1930, en raison de la mort prématurée de son frère, il reste le seul propriétaire de l'entreprise. La manufacture connaît immédiatement un grand succès et devient célèbre pour les sculptures réalistes d'animaux réalisées par Guido. Guido Cacciapuoti meurt en 1953.
