Excellent work realized by the master of the Italian Pop art movement depicting a still life of citrus trees set on table. We see the still life from above. The color of the table is an acid green that contrasts with the three fruits. The top is also characterized by orange shades that contrast with the green of the background. The work is part of the master's final work. Schifano will die in a few years. This work has been realized by Mario Schifano (Homs, 1934 - Rome, 1998). Schifano made his debut in the exhibition at ''Salita di Roma'', presented by Pierre Restany in 1960. It attracts many critics by creating monochrome paintings which give the idea of screen. He signed an exclusive contract with Ileana Sonnabend. In 1962, he made his first trip to the United States where he was attracted by artists like Franz Kline, he frequented Frank O'Hara, Jasper Johns, Rothko, Andy Warhol, Gregory Corso. He participated in the exhibition ''The New Realists'' at the Sidney Janis Gallery in New York. After two solo shows in Rome and Paris, he returned to the United States. In the elaboration of his artworks, the artist prefers to use colors of industrial production for their ability to preserve their brilliance.

La couleur de la table est d'un vert acide qui contraste avec les trois fruits. Le dessus est également caractérisé par des nuances d'orange qui contrastent avec le vert du fond. L'œuvre fait partie de l'œuvre finale du maître. Schifano mourra dans quelques années. Cette œuvre a été réalisée par Mario Schifano (Homs, 1934 - Rome, 1998).
